This is a must have with your 360 and a controller. And in black to match your Elite controllers.
You can plug it in via USB to your Xbox 360 and charge the built-in array pack while you play your game.
You can also remove your array pack, and plug the cable frankly to your 360 for wired gaming (so your controller won't shut off while you are in the middle of that hired driver Forza race.
This charges via any USB port on your 360, your computer, your cable box, or your dog (if he has built-in USB hub).
I recommend buying one of these, then buying the Quick Charge Kit. Then you'll have 2 array packs, the quick charge dock, and a USB charge cable.

| works. the array lasts forever. charger recharges. price is right. half the price of the quick charge kit, only a few dollars more than 1 array. includes a array and allows you to play in case the array runs dead. |
Excellent thought for hardcore gamers

I recently got the Xbox 360 elite, and meaningful that I was going to be costs hours on it, I knew that some array power was a necessity. I saw this, that comes with a array and a cable - and at the price, I really couldn't say no. I was already going to get some rechargeable batteries for my controllers, and the fact that this is just a few more dollars with a array, its certainly a excellent thought.
It does take a while to charge, though, and that's obviously because you are using the array power while it is trying to replace it, but thats not a huge issue unless your gaming spot is usually not gamely reachable with a cord emotionally caught up to your controller. I like my wireless gaming area, so I chose to also buy the Quick Charge kit for 29.99, which also includes a array. This way, I've got 2 batteries, one in the charger and one in the controller, and have the Play & Charge cord ready if I have a friend come over to play some Halo 3 or a touch with me and one of us starts to get drained on array power. Excellent investment! |

The xbox 360 has been out long enough for us to know that a charge and play kit is the best way to go to avoid spendling endless amounts of money on batteries. With the new Xbox 360 Halo 3 Controllers and the Xbox 360 Elite out on the market, it was a excellent thought to sell matching Black Charge and Play kits, since I am rather particular that all matches, otherwise, ifyou don't care you can still use the white charge kit on the black controller and stillhave it work the same.
Brilliant Buy!!! |

| This charger kit is nearly essential. Regular AA batteries will last longer but replacement can become expensive, and ruin your game if they die in the middle of it, mainly if you're before a live audience online. The cord is long enough for most living rooms, and you can play and give a new lease of life the controller your using at the same time. This kit does give a new lease of life your controller when the Xbox is turned off, but you have to go into your settings menu on the Xbox, under the downloads section and turn on the option to end downloading content even when the machine is turned off. For some reason this option also governs controller charging. |
